ABOUT
MY TREES
COFFEE
Welcome to our coffee journey, where every bean is a testament to passion, tradition, and sustainability. Nestled in the lush Mbeya region of Tanzania, our farm thrives at an altitude of 1,760 meters above sea level. Spanning 28 hectares of fertile volcanic soil, it’s the perfect environment for cultivating exceptional coffee.
Our farm is part of a larger vision to plant billions of trees to tackle climate change and build sustainable communities. Beyond coffee, we are planting trees in both Colombia and Tanzania to restore ecosystems and combat deforestation. In Tanzania, we grow cashew trees, which provide food security and income for local families, while also producing superfood products from the finest African fruits.
We are passionate about giving back to the environment and our communities. Our volunteer programs allow us to plant trees in neighborhoods around Europe, creating green spaces and emphasizing the importance of sustainable living. Through our education initiatives, we aim to inspire individuals and communities to adopt eco-friendly practices, ensuring a positive and lasting impact on the planet for generations to come. Every tree planted, every project launched, brings us closer to a world where sustainability and environmental responsibility are at the forefront.
OUR
COFFEE FARM
Our coffee story began in 2012 with the planting of our first coffee trees, and by 2016, we celebrated our first harvest. Today, we nurture 86,000 coffee trees, and we’re excited to be expanding even further. With plans to plant an additional 4,000 coffee trees, we’re committed to growing not just our farm, but also our impact on the environment and community.
On our farm, coffee matures over nine months, cared for by up to 250 local workers during harvest season, many from nearby villages. Every bean is handpicked to ensure quality and authenticity, reflecting our dedication to craftsmanship.
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. Alongside coffee, we cultivate bananas, mangoes, avocados, and other fruits, tend to bees that pollinate our coffee plants, and raise animals. We’ve built water-retention ponds, introduced erosion control measures, and prioritize enriching the soil naturally.
We deeply value our community and invest in local schools and nurseries. We teach our neighbors about environmental responsibility, water management, waste sorting, and beekeeping. The fruits from our trees and fish from our ponds provide nourishment for local families, ensuring that our farm supports not just livelihoods but also lives.
Our Arabica coffee varieties, Bourbon and Compact, are grown with care, fertilized naturally with resources like manure from the Maasai. Over years of dedication and learning, we’ve perfected our methods to bring out the best in every bean.
When you enjoy a cup of our coffee, you’re experiencing more than just a brew. You’re savoring the soul of Tanzania, nurtured in volcanic soil and shaped by time-honored traditions. From our farm to your cup, this is coffee with a purpose—cultivated with respect for nature, care for the community, and a commitment to a sustainable future.
